I know how to make Indomie. My parents are from Indonesia. But we are not Indonesian. I’m from the United States of America. But I’m American Chinese. I make Indomie in the Indonesian Chinese style. I’m actually Teochew, Hakka, and Cantonese. I speak a lot of languages. I can even speak Indonesian. I make a lot of Indonesian dishes. I recommend cooking the Indomie with the soup. Mie is in Indonesian. We mix up Indonesian and Chinese all the time.
You can't get more authentic than Indonesian street food. I'm indonesian and I can't get enough of the street food.

That hot Indomie soup with the chili sounded so good, especially on a cold day. We love our noodles firm too, with a nice chew to them. We are so glad you guys did this video of all your favorites.. everything looked fabulous!! Great video and love you guys to the mother effin' moon! 🙏🏻💖🌛
The banana dessert looked amazing and Bears would eat that right up.. she loves banana desserts.. all of it made sense, until the cheese!! What an interesting twist to a dessert.. Looks like something you would eat after a long night of drinking. That fry bread with peanut butter and chocolate.. AMAZING!!!! Bears used to make a peanut butter, banana, and honey sandwich… YUMMY!!
We have never tried those Indomie noodles before, but have seen so many people who love those instant noodles. The sunny side egg.. Butters would love, and corned beef looks so good and crispy. Happy Soda sounds great.. just from the name alone! The color is so bright.. and almost looks like the same color of Pepto Bismol LOLOL!!! Not sure if you have that brand there in Oz!! It looks so creamy and refreshing.. especially on a hot day!
Hey Nick and Helmi!! We have never eaten Indonesian food before, as the majority of the Asian restaurants around here are Thai, Chinese, Viet, Korean, and Japanese. We can't think of one Indonesian restaurant we have seen around here, but so great to see you guys recreate these 5 street foods at home, that you used to eat growing up!! All of them were so unique! <3

Well, I'm a street F&B lover. Thanks for sharing those recipes. And now, I can make them on my own during this MCO period. Besides "Jus Alpukat", "Soda Gembira" is my favourite drink ever. We called it "Air Bandung" in Malaysia, though. How refreshing, indeed. We usually don't put/ use soda drink. Just cherry syrup with condensed milk & ice cube.
