MIKEEE!!! I'm Indonesian living here in CA, US and I just missed the food that's why I played this video of yours!! I missed our bakmi so much! I started my day with the bakmi after a little jog in the morning.. We start BIG for our day. LOL. But yeah, here in US, I'm not that lucky to be able to find delicious bakmi close enough to whatever you had there in the video.
But if I missed eating bakmi that much, I usually go to Mi La Cay in Westminster, CA. They have the fried pork skin I order the house special number 1 with broth on the side. Or I will visit Java Bistro in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. And order myself some Mie Ayam Singapore. Or they call it Singapore noodles. I'll ask them to yamien my noodles. Means put some kecap on it.
Seeing your video really made me want to fly to Jakarta and reserve a spot at 212 Wiro Sableng! LOL..

in 2017 I asked you about hot pot and Korean bbq and you were kind enough to answer. In 2019 I was able to find a place and find a couple different places. I tried a hot pot where the owner told us this dish would be popular in Americans coming to Korea and I tried bbq pork belly. The second time I tried hot pot I was more adventurous with it and tried a seafood hot pot. I also tried Korean wine for the first time. Now because I’m visually impaired I have the server put everything in the pot our table and cook everything all at once so I don’t get food poisoning. I watched your video on hot pot politeness and one of the rules was don’t over crowd the pot. Am I breaking that edict by having the server do that because I can’t see when the food is fully cooked
