Helmiπ you are the queen of sas! Love it.
Tolong tanya, mana Resep martabak mania Teflon ,Kami Cari tidak ada, Dulu Ada DI video nick , Sekarang tidak ada
terima kasih for sharing !! I just discovered your channel π I will have to add that jackfruit and tempeh to my list of stuff to try next time I am in Sydney (and the vegetarian Indian place from the Little India video), as I should be moving from Canada to Aus later in the year! I spent 3 months in Java in 2019, and my fave food was GadoGado! is there anywhere in Sydney to get it? we don't have any Indonesia restaurant where I live unfortunately
As Sumatrans, we claim Rendang is from Sumatraβ¦. not the other islands? Actually I am not from West Sumatra, hence I donβt claim anything. please stop claiming ownership of shared culture. There was a huge exodus of Minang and Mandailing people to Negeri Sembilan during Padri war, thanks to Tuanku Imam Bonjolβ¦ that was way before Dutch East Indies occupied West Sumatra. I know youβre just being cheeky and playful, but have u ever thought of how many Minang descendants in Malaya (war migrants!) would be hurt by such statements?
Kerennn
advise me what are the Indonesian restaurants I should visit
Rendang daging dan kari nangka tu menyelerakan siap boleh hirup sekali π
Aww you guys are amazing. Pondok buyung was my go to Sunday lunch during uni days. Yes, engineering students had to uni on Sunday π

Have u guys been to the Sewah in Kensington? if you havenβt, I really recommend it. Tastes so good. π€€
What? Didn't stop at Ayam 99! Best satay in the world!
Love Kopiko! Cap badak water – even the doctors here recommends! Awhhh that martabak manis is loaded! 1000 calories π why must you bring that up now πππ
Oooo looove that fried fish, those amount of chilly on it! Yums!! Padang's men have such good life π "Peanut, chocolate and cheese… Mamamia~~~" I feel you Helmi!!
That range of dishes at Pondok Buyung, I would have a hard time choosing!! Awhhh that rendang…. Hahaha!! I won't argue where Rendang came from π Whoaa love the amount of lemongrass on the chicken. Jackfruit curry looks amazing, need to try that one day! Lol Nick's reaction to the Jackfruit curry π
That dessert looks amazing guys. "Slap that margarine" π§ π Now we're craving that!
Those are some good looking plate guys. Love a plate that has a bit of everything.
Guys, we would love to have an Indo town here. So hard to find Indonesian food here. But we'll need to check out a new place that open up in Chicago.
Could you review Mamak's Village? I had a murtabak there and it was actually spicy and had meat in it
Lieles says he is not running, he would just get fatter hahaha

"And of course, being Helmi, I put more chili in it" π€£π€£π€£ We would not be Helmi, sorry Helmi, but we are chickens when it comes to spicy lol
Clear now Helmi, Rendang is Indonesian! We won't make that mistake lol
so many spices, that sounds sooo delish! the tamarind, the cinnamon, my mouth is watering.
I can tell that chicken is spicy by the super orange and red colors of that sauce lol
Two places to eat Indonesian food in Sydney.
"Indo people like us" I am wondering where can I find indo like you here in Turkey lol. Come guys!!!! we are going to the beach soon!

I wish there is one Padang restaurant in Japan.
I love Helmi's enthusiasm in this video! You can tell she's in her element when talking about Indo food. Makes the food look even more delicious!!!
I didnt skip any ads so i that can see more content like this π I wish I knew which halal restaurant to go to on my first trip to Sydney but now that i do, i dont have to go stuff myself with Woolies sushi π 12:40 is my fav abc sambal terasi!! It's a must-have when I was studying in the UK! Have it with indomie goreng and fried egg.. ugh such a comfort food!
The dessert was so huge and interesting to see all the stuff that was inside! The texture was really cool, and the crust crispy! Sucks it got a little soggy on the way home, but is to be expected. Wild that they use cheese and chocolate on the inside. Glad to see you really enjoyed this day of Indonesian food! Love you guys to the mother effin' moon! π₯°πππ€π
Helmi's dish with the jackrfuit curry is quite a unique dish. We have never tried it before. That fried fish with chili sauce looked so crispy and good, and you know Helmi is all about the spicy food! Lemongrass is one of our favorite! The White Lotus store had some great stuff we've never seen before, and great they had some treats from your childhoods!
The spicy chicken with rice looked so flavorful with the sauce on the chicken. That spinach dish looked really tasty as well, as we enjoy that veggie! It's great to hear that the beef was tender and flavorful. It's interesting to hear the spices they use in these dishes paired with coconut milk.
Hey Nick and Helmi! That's so cool you guys went to Indonesian food. We bet it feels nostalgic and like home! That's cool that you tried 2 different spots, and both looked like they had some really great food!
