  1. I've had home-cooked food by somebody's mother in Padang Sumatra in 1976 and I still reckon it was one of the best meals of my life (apart from Padang food being the hottest in Indonesia and commonly many small plates of organs like lungs – eek!)
As much as I love good Indonesian food, I feel relegated to a fruitless search for anything like the best I've had – there in Padang …

  2. Nah your brother looks like my future husband 😉

  3. While on the way to Cabramatta we chance upon a Malaysian food "fair" in Guildford. Mamu Penang Coffee Stall. 312 Railway Terrace, Guildford. Open hours are Thursday to Sundays 4pm to 11pm. Plus Saturday and Sundays 8.30am to 12.30pm. There are a number of stalls there. The owner said the best time is Saturday 7.30pm when most will be opened. We went there Saturday at 12pm so we were quite late. They only had Nasi kandar left. You might want to check it out.
